Everything I expect from Amazon - order process easy, product delivery on time as expected, product performs as expected, price was right.
The only thing I don't like about some of these external drives (I also have an Hitachi that doesn't have a switch) is the inability to physically turn them on & off. I like to be able to flip a switch to shut them down after I'm finished. Also, whenever I access this drive & then try to "eject" it using the tray icon, I am usually presented with the message that "a program is accessing the drive..." &, even though I have closed the program that allows me to work on my files, it won't "eject". Sometimes if I wait, I can "eject" it, but more often than not I simply unplug the USB connector. I have never had a problem with corrupted files, but it can be disconcerting to be unable to shut it down properly.
That said, the drive is exactly what I needed & otherwise works fine.
